Anticipatory Action

This course introduces Anticipatory Action, its importance, key objectives, role in the Disaster Risk Management Cycle, and the need for gender-responsive, locally led approaches. It is the first in CARE’s Anticipatory Action e-learning series, developed under the SUFAL II project, led by the CARE Climate Justice Center and funded by DG ECHO. The project is managed by CARE Deutschland e.V. and implemented by CARE Bangladesh as the lead agency.

Anticipatory Action

This course will explore the three key components of Anticipatory Action: triggers, early action, and pre-arranged financing, along with MEAL for Anticipatory Action. It provides recommendations and examples to ensure these components are gender-responsive and locally led. It is the second course in CARE’s Anticipatory Action e-learning series, developed under the SUFAL II project, led by the CARE Climate Justice Center and funded by DG ECHO.
